PR-Supporting LMIA (Dual-Intent)
A PR-supporting LMIA is requested by a Canadian employer specifically to add CRS points to a candidate's Express Entry profile. Can be requested with or without an accompanying work permit application.
CRS Points Awarded
A valid arranged employment offer with an LMIA earns:
- ● +200 points for a senior management NOC TEER 0 position
- ● +50 points for any other NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 position
When to Use
For Express Entry candidates with strong profiles who need a final push past the current CRS cutoff. Often used by employers wanting to retain a temporary worker permanently, or by candidates with a genuine Canadian job offer.
Employer Requirements
Same as regular LMIA — recruitment proof, prevailing wage compliance, business legitimacy, no labour disputes. PR-supporting LMIAs require evidence the position will continue indefinitely.
